The End of Lauren Boebert

Screen capture | remastered by DemsMight

Uh-oh. It looks like Lauren Boebert's political career might finally be coming to an end. GOP House member Ken Buck, who represents CO-4 is leaving Congress. Leaving his seat up for grabs, and forcing a special election. Lauren Boebert, who currently represents Colorado's 3rd Congressional district recently switched to district 4, a less competitive seat, in fear of being replaced next November by her opponent Adam Frisch. Adam Frisch was about 500 votes away from defeating Boebert in the 2022 midterm elections.

But things aren't playing out how Boebert expected. A recent poll from Colorado's 4th Congressional district showed Lauren struggling to win voters over. Polling at just 12 votes total in the straw poll taken by 100 Republican voters. Commissioner Jerry Sonnenberg topped the poll with 22 votes. State Representative Mike Lynch received 20, and conservative radio host Deborah Florida and State Representative Richard Holtorf received 17.

Ken Buck's decision to retire makes it even more difficult for Boebert, as she will now have to decide whether to vacate her seat in order to run in the special election, this would leave her seat open as she would have to campaign in her new district, which is pretty competitive as it is.

Oh, and if that wasn't bad enough already, Lauren Boebert cannot run for Colorado's 4th Congressional district unless she vacates her current seat first. A tough choice for the Trump loyalist. And no matter what happens, Republicans will temporarily lose a seat in an already slim House majority.

How excited are you to finally see Lauren Boebert out of office?

  • Very!

  • Don't get my hopes up!

  • Don't care.
