Donald Trump's scheme with the National Enquirer has been exposed yet again. But this time, prosecutors in New York are arguing for something far more devastating: "Trump orchestrated a criminal scheme to corrupt the 2016 presidential election."
Prosecutors are arguing that Donald Trump's meeting with Michael Cohen and David Pecker (former National Enquirer executive) was a plot to corrupt the presidential elections by means of media manipulation and collusion. Key witnesses have exposed that the National Enquirer engaged in a "catch and kill" complot to find and buy negative stories about Trump and not publish them. On top of that, the National Enquirer also engaged in pushing negative stories about Trump's political rivals, even if unconfirmed, in an effort to aid his presidential bid.
The Stormy Daniels hush money payoff is no different. It was all planned to hide information from the public. Something that former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen was been very open about for years now. So it is now more official than ever. Donald Trump was never a legitimate president. The media colluded with him to kill negative stories, helped to push him across the finish line, all while Russia meddled in our elections by targeting US voters with a campaign of anti-Hillary misinformation.
As the trial continues, the plot thickens, and prosecutors seem to have a very compelling case to convict Donald Trump. And make no mistake, this isn't a hush money case, it's an election interference case.
